ACC Akademia College participates in a D-VET project which aims to mobilize and encourage teachers and trainers of vocational education for the digital transformation of their classes.

This project is associated with partners from 5 countries and is funded by the European Commission through the Erasmus+ program. The purpose is to incentivize VET educators to take concrete actions for their upskilling and reskilling in transition from paper to digital education and teaching. 

The objectives of the project, which are corresponding with VET priorities, contribute to innovation in education and training and increase its attractiveness. 

One of the objectives is to develop a learning methodology to advance online vocational lessons for distance learning. Furthermore, the project will develop and introduce an online wiki for sharing lessons and experiences. Another objective is to identify, recruit and select vocational teachers to be trained in an online learning training programme. In addition, it will increase the attractiveness of vocational subjects teaching and learning, boost learners' motivation, and share practices and ideas in the VET environment.   

As a result, the project will strengthen the abilities of VET educators by reinforcing their skills and help them be more qualified and competitive at a professional level.  

The kick-off meeting of the DVET project already took place in December 2021 in Sofia, at the Elisaveta Vazova Vocational School of Design. Our College participated in the first meeting and learned about the methodology that will be followed during the project.
