Η έρευνα CyGraduates

Η έρευνα CyGraduates αποσκοπεί να παρέχει δεδομένα σε διαχρονική βάση για την είσοδο των αποφοίτων Ανώτερης Εκπαίδευσης της Κύπρου στην αγορά εργασίας, τις εμπειρίες φοίτησής τους, τις δεξιότητες που απέκτησαν καθώς και για τη διασύνδεση των Προγραμμάτων Σπουδών Ανώτερης Εκπαίδευσης με την αγορά εργασίας. Στη βάση των αποτελεσμάτων της έρευνας, τα Ιδρύματα Ανώτερης Εκπαίδευσης θα είναι σε θέση να αναθεωρήσουν το περιεχόμενο και τη διδακτική μεθοδολογία υφιστάμενων Προγραμμάτων Σπουδών αλλά και να προσφέρουν νέα Προγράμματα Σπουδών, ώστε οι απόφοιτοι/ες να διαθέτουν γνώσεις και δεξιότητες που απαιτεί η αγορά εργασίας. Τα προκαταρτικά αποτελέσματα του πρώτου κύκλου της εν λόγω έρευνας έχουν ήδη δημοσιευθεί με ανοικτή πρόσβαση στον σύνδεσμο htps://skilltracking.highereducation.ac.cy/reports/

Ποιοι συμμετέχουν στον δεύτερο κύκλο της CyGraduates;

Σε αυτό τον δεύτερο κύκλο της έρευνας συμμετέχουν:

• Απόφοιτοι/ες από όλα τα Ιδρύματα Ανώτερης Εκπαίδευσης της Κύπρου.
• Απόφοιτοι/ες οι οποίοι/ες αποφοίτησαν κατά τα ακαδημαϊκά έτη 2017-2018 και 2021-2022.
• Απόφοιτοι/ες από Προγράμματα Σπουδών που οδήγησαν στην απόκτηση ενός εκ των ακόλουθων Τίτλων Σπουδών: Πιστοποιητικού, Διπλώματος, Ανώτερου Διπλώματος, Πτυχίου ή Μεταπτυχιακού.
• Απόφοιτοι/ες όλων των τύπων φοίτησης (π.χ. πλήρους φοίτησης, μερικής φοίτησης, εξ αποστάσεως).
• Απόφοιτοι/ες όλων των εθνικοτήτων.
• Απόφοιτοι/ες που είτε διαμένουν εντός είτε εκτός Κύπρου.

Συλλογή Δεδομένων - Πρόσβαση στο ερωτηματολόγιο

Τη χρονική περίοδο Ιανουαρίου-Μαρτίου 2024 θα γίνεται η συλλογή των δεδομένων μέσω ενός ηλεκτρονικού ερωτηματολογίου. Η πρόσβαση στο ερωτηματολόγιο γίνεται μέσω της ιστοσελίδας του έργου htps://skilltracking.highereducation.ac.cy/el/cygraduates/ ή χρησιμοποιώντας τον προσωπικό σύνδεσμο που έχει αποσταλεί με email ή sms σε όλους/όλες τους/τις απόφοιτους/ες των πιο πάνω ακαδημαϊκών ετών από το Ίδρυμα Ανώτερης Εκπαίδευσης από το οποίο αποφοίτησαν. Η συμπλήρωση του ερωτηματολογίου απαιτεί 10-12 λεπτά. Με την ολοκλήρωση της συμπλήρωσης του ερωτηματολογίου οι απόφοιτοι/ες θα λάβουν ένα μικρό δώρο και επίσης θα έχουν τη δυνατότητα να συμμετέχουν σε κλήρωση για να κερδίσουν μεγαλύτερα δώρα (αεροπορικό εισιτήριο, διαμονή σε ξενοδοχεία και δωροεπιταγές).

Σημαντικότητα έρευνας

Η συμβολή των αποφοίτων Ανώτερης Εκπαίδευσης στην έρευνα CyGraduates κρίνεται πολύ σημαντική για τη βελτίωση της παρεχόμενης εκπαίδευσης, την καλύτερη αντιστοίχιση των δεξιοτήτων που αποκτούνται από την Ανώτερη Εκπαίδευση με τις ανάγκες της αγοράς εργασίας και τη διαμόρφωση καλύτερων προοπτικών απασχόλησης για τους/τις απόφοιτους/ες Ανώτερης Εκπαίδευσης της Κύπρου.

The National Survey CyGraduates
Improving the link between Higher Education and the Labour Market

The Department of Higher Education of the Ministry of Education, Sport and Youth implements for the second consecutive year the National Graduate Tracking Survey (CyGraduates) in the context of the project entitled "Development of a National Graduate Tracking Mechanism and Design and Implementation of an Employers’ Skills Survey” which is included in the Recovery and Resilience Plan of the Republic of Cyprus.

National Graduate Tracking Survey: CyGraduates

CyGraduates aims to provide data on a longitudinal basis regarding the entry of Higher Education graduates of Cyprus into the labor market, their study experiences, the skills acquired during their studies as well as on the relevance of Higher Education Programs of Study with the labor market. Based on the results of the survey, Higher Education Institutions will be able to revise the content and teaching methodology of existing Programs of Study as well as to offer new Programs of Study, so that graduates have the knowledge and skills required by the labor market. Who participates in the second cycle of CyGraduates?

• Graduates from all Higher Education Institutions in Cyprus.
• Graduates who graduated during the academic years 2017-2018 and 2021-2022.
• Graduates from Programs of Study that led to the acquisition of one of the following Degrees: Certificate, Diploma, Higher Diploma, Bachelor's or Master's Degree.
• Graduates of all types of study (e.g., full- time, part-time, distance).
• Graduates of all nationalities.
• Graduates who either reside inside or outside Cyprus.

Data Collection - Access to the questionnaire

In the period between January-March 2024, data will be collected through an online questionnaire. Access to the questionnaire is done through the project's website htps://skilltracking.highereducation.ac.cy/cygraduates/ or by using the personalised link sent by email or sms to all graduates of the above academic years from the Higher Education Institution from which they graduated. Completing the questionnaire takes approximately 10-12 minutes. Upon completion of the questionnaire, graduates will receive a small gift and will also have the opportunity to participate in a draw to win bigger prizes (air ticket, hotel accommodation and gift vouchers).

The contribution of Higher Education graduates to the CyGraduates survey is considered very important for the improvement of the education provided, the beter matching of the skills acquired from Higher Education with the needs of the labor market and the improvement of employment prospects for Higher Education graduates of Cyprus.
